By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any Hub4Apps mobile application or service (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our Services.
BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE (OR 16 IN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA). IF YOU ARE UNDER THE REQUIRED AGE, YOU MAY NOT USE OUR SERVICES.
KidMode Clarification: Children may use a device during a supervised KidMode session. However, the KidMode app itself is intended for adult device owners only (18+). The adult is the "user" of the app; children are users of the restricted device environment.
2. Description of Services
Hub4Apps provides mobile applications designed to deliver meaningful experiences for personal growth, education, and family engagement. Our Services may include:
- Educational and inspirational content
- Personal reflection and journaling tools
- Interactive features and community engagement
- Offline and cloud-based content synchronization
- Personalization and customization features
3. KidMode App Terms
The following terms apply specifically to the KidMode parental utility application.
3.1 KidMode Description
KidMode is a parental utility app designed for parents and guardians to temporarily restrict their iOS device to approved apps during supervised sessions. It is categorized as a Utilities app on the App Store, not a Kids Category app.
Technical Implementation: KidMode does NOT install VPNs, MDM profiles, or configuration profiles. It uses exclusively Apple's official FamilyControls and ManagedSettings APIs for on-device restrictions. All processing occurs locally on your device.
3.2 Eligibility & Authorization
- You must be at least 18 years old to use KidMode
- You must be the owner of the device or have authorization to manage it
- You must not use KidMode to restrict another adult's device without their explicit consent
3.3 KidMode Subscription Tiers
Free Tier
- 1 kid profile
- 2 approved apps per profile
- 30-minute maximum session duration
KidMode Plus (Subscription)
KidMode Plus is available as a monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or lifetime purchase. Current pricing and free trial availability are displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
Plus features include: Up to 5 profiles, unlimited approved apps, and extended session durations.
3.4 Device Access & Security
Emergency Access: KidMode includes an Emergency Exit feature. If you forget your PIN, you can always regain device access using your device passcode. Your device will never be permanently locked.
- You are responsible for remembering your KidMode PIN
- Screen Time authorization can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings
- Device restrictions are temporary and controllable by the device owner
3.5 Apple Screen Time APIs
KidMode functionality depends on Apple's Screen Time APIs. We are not responsible for:
- Changes to iOS or Screen Time API behavior from Apple updates
- Temporary unavailability of Screen Time features
- Device-specific compatibility issues
3.6 KidMode Limitations
- KidMode is NOT a substitute for parental supervision
- KidMode is NOT an MDM or enterprise device management solution
- KidMode is NOT a VPN, proxy, or network filter
- KidMode does NOT monitor, log, or track child activity
- KidMode does NOT send any usage data to external servers
- KidMode does NOT provide content filtering beyond app restrictions
- KidMode is designed for temporary device sharing, not permanent restrictions
3.7 KidMode Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use KidMode to:
- Restrict a device you do not own or have authority over
- Lock another adult out of their device without consent
- Circumvent employer or school device management policies
- Any purpose that violates local laws
4. User Accounts and Registration
Account Creation
Some Services may require you to create an account. You may register using:
- Email and password
- Third-party authentication (Google, Apple, or other supported providers)
- Guest/anonymous mode (limited features, local storage only)
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Using strong, unique passwords
Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account at any time through the in-app settings. Upon account deletion:
- Your personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days
- Local data stored on your device will be cleared immediately
- This action is irreversible and cannot be undone
5. Acceptable Use Policy
Permitted Use
- Personal, non-commercial use for educational and inspirational purposes
- Creating personal content (journal entries, notes, reflections)
- Sharing publicly available content with proper attribution
- Accessing Services across multiple personal devices
Prohibited Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use Services for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Violate any local, state, national, or international law
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
- Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Services
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access Services without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Impersonate any person or entity
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Hub4Apps Proprietary Content
Unless otherwise stated, all content, features, and functionality of the Services are owned by Hub4Apps and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:
- Software code, algorithms, and architecture
- User interface design and visual elements
- Original written content, interpretations, and scenarios
- Logos, trademarks, and brand assets
User-Generated Content
You retain all ownership rights to content you create within our Services (journal entries, notes, personal reflections). By creating content, you grant Hub4Apps a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing Services to you. We will not share, sell, or publicly display your private content without your explicit consent.
License Grant to You
Subject to these Terms, Hub4Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Content Disclaimers and Limitations
NOT Professional Advice: THE SERVICES PROVIDE INSPIRATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL, AND INFORMATIONAL CONTENT ONLY. CONTENT IS NOT INTENDED AS, AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AS, A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE OF ANY KIND.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice
- Legal counsel or representation
- Financial, investment, or tax advice
- Career or employment counseling
- Relationship or marriage counseling

- WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Services shall not exceed the greater of:
- (A) The amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or
- (B) $500 USD
Important Exceptions
This limitation does NOT apply to:
- Gross Negligence or Willful Misconduct
- Data Breach Due to Security Failures
- Statutory Damages under CCPA, GDPR, or other privacy laws
- Death or Personal Injury caused by our negligence

11. Termination
By You
You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the app and deleting your account (if applicable).
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Requests by law enforcement or government agencies
- Discontinuation or material modification of Services
- Unexpected technical issues or security concerns
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services immediately ceases
- Your account and data may be deleted (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive
